FAQs

How often should I take CBD?
Take CBD as needed. Some people take it only once a day, while others take it three times a day.
What extraction method does HEMP DAY use?
HEMP DAY products are made “solventless” through the use of MCT oil. Most companies use other harmful methods such as CO2, ethanol, or butane to extract, but these forms change the molecular structure of all the compounds in the plant. By using MCT oil, we are able to trap all the “good stuff” such as cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and more! This is a cleaner, safer method that also helps deliver the best results!
How do I store my CBD products? What is the shelf life?
It is best to keep CBD stored at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Exposure to extreme heat or cold can cause CBD degradation. We do not recommend refrigerating or leaving it in your car for a long period of time. When stored properly, CBD has a shelf life of about two years.
I am currently prescribed medications. Can I still use CBD?
If you have or suspect a medical condition or are taking any medications, please consult your physician before use.
What mode should I use for getting CBD into my body?
Everyone is different. The fastest mode to get CBD into your body would be through the use of smokeables, while tinctures and edibles can take longer to enter your body but they will last longer. For any injuries that are towards the surface, we suggest using our balm to target areas and help give relief. Make sure to do your research to find the best mode for you. Feel free to call or visit and our staff can help you!
Will I fail a drug test using CBD?
While we follow all rules and regulations, our HEMP DAY line is full spectrum which means there is a small percentage of THC. All our products are under .3% THC, however, this could cause you to have complications when getting drug tested. We do carry other 0% THC products for those who have this worry.
What is the difference between full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and isolates?

Full-spectrum means that all the cannabinoids including a small amount of THC, are in the products while broad-spectrum means no THC. Isolates are when a specific cannabinoid is taken out of the plant and just that cannabinoid is in the product. In the case of CBD, CBD is the specific cannabinoid in the isolate which still has several benefits, but has been found to be less effective than broad-spectrum or full spectrum. We strive for full spectrum as there are several studies that show full spectrum being a more effective product thanks to the entourage effect, meaning all the cannabinoids and plant compounds work together to produce a stronger effect than broad-spectrum or isolates.

Dosing Guidelines: How much CBD should I give my pet?
We generally recommend between 0.25 mg (a Regular Dose) to 0.5 mg (a Strong Dose) of CBD per every 1 lb of bodyweight.

See our Pet CBD Dosing Chart for specific product dosing guidelines.
